I agree that Coach Osborne should be honored in some way. I think the stadium should still be called Memorial Stadium, but the filed should be called Osborne Field. Then we would would go to Memorial Stadium to watch the greatest team in the world play on Osborne Field. Go Big Red Andy

I would support leaving the stadium name as is. But rename the field as Tom Osborne Field. That way when the Huskers are playing the commentators would begin by saying ' from Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium'.

I lived in Nebraska for 12 years as a youth. It was pretty difficult not to be a NEBRASKA fan, and I still am! Although I now live in Missouri, I always root for NU, unless of course there playing MIZZOU. Anyway, Go Big Red, and Osborne Stadium sounds REAT.

I feel that it only be fitting to honor the man that has brought us so many years of great memories by renaming the st dium. I have been a HUSKER fan for twenty years and will tell I die!!! Tom has been a true leader for Nebraska & College Football, both in the statistics and in his manor on & off the field. Most coaches are ranting and raving on the sidelines, but not Coach O. Always mild mannered & giving a pat on the back even though a pl y didn't follow thru to fruition. I vote for the field to be named after him & I have ALWAYS been a Husker Fan & ALWAYS will be. I lived in G.I. for 34 years before moving to AZ...where they don't know the meaning of true fanship..or what it takes to be champion..namely humility & grace. ( I had people stopping me after the ASU game when I was wearing my NE Tshirt & dis me something bad)...I just shook my head & smiled..because they hadn't a clue about what they were saying about the way their fans beha e. Anyway, with a great leader like Coach O. I have been able to smile at these clueless fans and keep MY comments to myself..even though what was said was hurtful & rude..Thanks to Coach O for instilling in all Nebraskans the pride of being champions.

I have enjoyed watching Nebraska Football for a long time, and Tom Osborne has been a big part of that enjoyment. He is a man of great class and faith and that is certainly something that I admire. Many have pointed the finger and made harsh comments abou the way he did things, but through it all he handled it with style and grace.
